Foster Parent, Author and Proud Aspie

Hi! I am a 30-year-old foster parent, book reviewer, children’s writer, amateur artist and poet who also happens to have Asperger’s Syndrome. I am a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and have been awarded several awards and honors for my writings. I spend most of my time reading, writing, drawing, hanging out with my family, playing with my 5 cats, dancing, hiking, visiting art museums, browsing local bookstores and doing other fun, nerdy stuff.

If you would like to find out more about me, you can find me on Facebook, follow me on Twitter or contact me by email at shojobeatgirl@live.com.

To see the books that I currently have available, please visit the ‘My Books’ page on this website.

It’s a shame you don’t have a donate button! I’d definitely donate to this outstanding blog! I suppose for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to new updates and will talk about this website with my Facebook group. Talk soon!
