This was originally going to just be a blog post here, but it was so long it became an article…sorry, had to vent!
I’m really starting to think that it would help to have a degree in law to be a foster parent…or maybe training as a detective. You have to deal with so much red tape and weird laws. In one simple case you can have children’s services, probation officers, police from several local counties and school officials involved (believe me, it’s true, we’ve been there). It’s enough to make your head spin.
It’s also so much fun when you are told out of the blue about a law that you didn’t even know existed…especially if you have been breaking that law.
