Hate censorship as much as I do? Here is the perfect manga series for you!

The manga series ‘Library Wars: Love & War’ is primarily a love story, but it delves into some pretty important social problems as well.  The series is based on the novel by Hiro Arikawa, but the manga story and art were created by Kiiro Yumi.  I’ve never read the novel, so I can’t comment on whether the manga stays true to the original story, but I can say that the manga is well-done. 

The main storyline is about a girl named Iku who is determined to join the Library Forces and fight against the MBC, an organization that believes most books are evil.  The action scenes come in when the Library Forces fight the MBC.  The Library Forces are determined to give people the freedom to enjoy the books they love, but the MBC wishes to keep whatever they deem ‘inappropriate literature’ out of the hands of the general population…
