I’ve been feeling a lot of art insecurity lately, so decided to make a video about it:

Hi! I am an artist, author, and blogger who also happens to have Asperger’s Syndrome. I have won several awards and honors for my writings and artwork. I suffer from a few severe mental illness and chronic pain conditions (Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, Ehlers Danlos, Degenerative Disc Disease, etc.), which greatly affects my life and makes me want to advocate for others going through similar things. Other interests of mine include reading, writing, drawing, watching cartoons and movies, collecting toys, hanging out with my family, and annoying my 3 cats. View all posts by marandarussell
You are not alone ,I think by nature most creative people be they writers, artists, poets are whatever are insecure. We all strive to be the best version of ourselves that we can. Fell pride in what you have already accomplished!

Definitely, I agree that it seems to be a somewhat universal thing with creators of any kind. I think talking about it does help others to know they aren’t the only ones that have those moments of doubt.

Definitely, It is sometimes the insecurity that gives you the creative edge!

If you love it the Confidence will radiate and make their love of it contagious and if not as hard as it sounds don’t feel disheartened. Some will love it, as much as you. Hope this helps.

Those that don’t may at least grow to appreciate your efforts even if your particular style does not reach them they will admire you for trying.

Enjoy your Art do it for You emotions can be infectious feelings can be contagious. It is if you spend enough time with a cross sectiom of people that come into your life. You will start without becoming Aware of it to think and Act like them. ‘How they think and feel, some of it can rub off on you. You don’t even know it is happening untill it has happened. That can Be Positive things. People can look to often on the Negative they do not always necessarily see how the imitation can Also be For the Positive. They don’t think out of the box.
