Cook Me With Tenderness
By: Maranda Russell

and not yet
without tricks,
I seem to
only disappoint

But I beg of you,
don’t roast me –
just smash me to bits
and cook me
with tenderness.

      1. Yes! I dont always express myself with words. I use my whole body. So you dont see me bouncing up and down with my hands over my mouth, or excited and “omfg wow!!” Fangirl flappy hands. Lol
