A Bit of Lewis Carroll Nonsense

The serious ones
and the bonkers ones
are rare birds
telling tales of
biscuits and chewed pencils
served with curry
and elegance –
a feast
which you can chew on
for ten whole years.

One of my favourite authors growing up was Lewis Carroll, C.S Lewis and Charles Dickens, and as I got older, Mary Shelley And Bram Stoker ‘Jewel of a seven stars’ and Dracula, there was a love story in Dracula. If you look beyond the Vampire part.

Those are all authors I enjoyed a lot too. Edgar Allan Poe is my favorite of all time, but I read all the ones you listed too!

Facebook decided this poem was inappropriate for my fan page audience. Even upon manual review, they rejected it. I really don’t get what is offensive about it lol.

I always liked silly poetry and Lewis Carroll was great at it, so I took some inspiration from that.
