Grow up, they all say
But when I try to plant roots
they poison the soil

Hi! I am an artist, author, and blogger who also happens to have Aspergerโs Syndrome. I have won several awards and honors for my writings and artwork. I suffer from a few severe mental illness and chronic pain conditions (Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, Ehlers Danlos, Degenerative Disc Disease, etc.), which greatly affects my life and makes me want to advocate for others going through similar things. Other interests of mine include reading, writing, drawing, watching cartoons and movies, collecting toys, hanging out with my family, and annoying my 3 cats.

The image is from Pixabay, so can’t take credit for that, but thought it fit the poem well.

Those few words spoke volumes of how we are living in this world! Have written a poem โPurityโ based on similar concept. I guess a lot of people feel the same..

Hardly Haiku – but what the hell

I know it would technically be more of a senryu as it deals with human nature and emotions, but most people don’t even know what a senryu is. In America, pretty much any poem with a 5-7-5 syllable structure is labeled as haiku.
