Yesterday was busy! In the morning, my husband and I went to a program at our local library put on my Wright Patterson Air Force Base about the history of UFOs and Project Blue Book (one of the programs that they had to investigate UFO reports). It was interesting, although obviously they didn’t share anything major about government secrets or possible cover-up programs.
The guy giving the speech did have a good sense of humor. I especially enjoyed this graphic he shared:
In the evening, we went to a local church for a meditation group. We did an hour of meditation called the “Twin Hearts” meditation which focused mostly on the heart and crown chakras. After that, we did some fun Tarot card readings just for kicks.
It was kind of funny, because I’ve studied the Tarot system and symbology, but my husband who has never done any card reading at all was called “more advanced” by the instructor. I will have to admit though that he surprised me with his perceptiveness and the things he saw and felt from the cards which I never would have thought of. He normally struggles to get out of his left brain thinking, but I guess maybe images help him to do so.
We used two separate decks, a dragon themed one and an archangels themed one. My favorite was the dragons!
It sounds to me like the two of you had a really great day together. That graphic of the weather balloons is hysterical! LOL!
I’m so happy that you had such a fun and productive day! 😊

Sweetie, Tarot cards and Chakras are occult and brings one to delve in deeper things. Our God warns us in Deut. chapter 18 verses 10-12. Darkness can bring depression and illness to the mind not light and hope. Love in Christ Jesus.:)

I appreciate your concern, I know it comes from a place of love. I used to fear these types of things myself, but I have come to think that they are tools (or even just entertainment) that can be used darkly or not. I would never delve into the dark side of things. No invoking demons or luciferianism for me. I do respect your beliefs though. I understand where they come from.

Ty. Sweetie for taking this into consideration.:)

No problem. I do try to be careful. I’ve seen way too many horror movies and ghost shows that start with people messing with stuff they don’t understand and letting in things they don’t want.

Gotta agree with Hawk2017 on this one. I’m fascinated by Tarot and Chakras, but I shift my focus to Godly things.

I understand your feelings. I would NEVER pressure anyone to do anything they are uncomfortable with.

Funny but true story. Ages ago (1988 give or take a year or so) I was out really late with friends in the East SF Bay Area. I was first to the car and was waiting for a few minutes for my friends. I look up, and there’s what looks like a spotlight in the clouds. Perfect circle of light, BUT there’s no beam of light from the ground leading to it. The circle went from a bit South of me to completely disappearing on the Northern horizon in a matter of 10 seconds. NO Noise from it either.
ZERO idea what it was, There was no discernible physical shape, just the circle of light. Any sort of a spotlight should have had a light beam going up or down to that circle.
Chakras are part of our energetic being. However, learning to open them up more can still be dangerous if you don’t shield yourself and learn how to clean them out with white light. Think of chakras as doors to the house of your soul for a over-simplified “why” there.
Tarot cards are indeed a tool as you said. How you use any tool determines how dangerous it is. Most commonly, it’s just your subconscious communicating with you through the cards. ANY divination tool is potentially dangerous if you use it to communicate with outside forces though. You never can be sure that whatever spirit you’re communicating with is what it says. Oija boards in particular are BAD for picking up negative things. Best advice I can give here is pray before you use them for guidance from on high, then pray afterwards that the cards are kept clean and pure.
Of course, prayer is REALLY all you need for guidance anyway. Listening for the answers just takes alot of practice. 😉
More to the point, there’s a reason even Buddhism discourages magic use until one reaches the Bodhisattva stage. They believe it’s too easy to completely gum up your karma via unintended consequences as well as believing you need to be at that level of growth to avoid being opened to corruption via what you come into contact with via it’s use.

That is a cool UFO experience! I’ve never seen something I thought was a true UFO, but have seen some strange looking aircraft at night that I’m pretty sure are from the local air force base.
I don’t try to do spirit contacting really. Never used a Ouija board. I use the tarot or other cards for meditation and personal insight. I do occasionally talk out loud to deceased loved ones, but I think everyone does that.
I’ve studied the occult quite extensively, so I think I’ve got a good grasp of the dangers and the benefits. I am careful about what I play around with.
