Quotation Contest – Bullying

Here is another quote I wrote for a quotation contest/art exhibit. The subject for this one was bullying, something I unfortunately have quite a bit of experience with personally. Do you think my quote captures the feeling of being bullied honestly? I know sometimes it is more than one person doing the bullying, but typically there is one main bully (a ring leader shall we say) and the rest are just minions who are also afraid of crossing the big bad bully. At least that has been my experience.

Hi! I am an artist, author, and blogger who also happens to have Asperger’s Syndrome. I have won several awards and honors for my writings and artwork. I suffer from a few severe mental illness and chronic pain conditions (Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, Ehlers Danlos, Degenerative Disc Disease, etc.), which greatly affects my life and makes me want to advocate for others going through similar things. Other interests of mine include reading, writing, drawing, watching cartoons and movies, collecting toys, hanging out with my family, and annoying my 3 cats.

  1. The saddest thing is that Bullying doesn’t end in adulthood, unfortunately ignorance is all around us. What we can however do is not let the bullies win. We can hold our head up high and stand up for one another more then maybe this world would be a better place. Great quote! Sending Light and Love your way.

◇ As Both Child and ‘Grown Up’ as a Direct Consequence of UpBringing I Perceived I Was Being Bullied; then I Stood Up for MySelf…the FEAR!!! on Their Face Terrified Me; now when I Encounter Bullies, I Simply Stare at Them and Invite Them to FIGHT!!! Run Away or Be Friends then They Pick an Option, They CHOOSE!!!
