I came across a Crayola marker set at CVS that I used to create the below artworks. I really like the way these markers give a painting-like feel to the pictures and how the markers show a variety of shades when used. The kit only came with 5 markers (brown, orange, white, green, and pink), but I was able to make the pictures look almost life-like with them.

I don’t know about you, but I need something cheerful to look at lol. With the Coronavirus apocalypse upon us, I want something that will make me smile and remind me of the cute, simple things in life. So today I’m sharing a couple coloring pictures from my Sesame Street Abby in Wonderland coloring book (by the way, coloring is a great relaxing activity if you find yourself stuck at home in quarantine!).
First, we have the Cookie Monster starring as the Cheshire Cat:
And here we have Elmo starring as the white (er, red?) rabbit:
Here are a couple more completed pictures from my JRR Tolkien coloring book. The first one reminds me of Bigfoot lol:
The second one I lovingly call “Mountain Man”:
Both of these pictures are for sale on my Ebay store if you are interested!
The past couple days I’ve been in the mood to do some adult coloring. Using my Tolkien’s World adult coloring book that I received from a friend, I used my art markers and other art supplies to finish these two pictures of a raven and a vampire bat, which I felt would fit the Halloween season well:
If I remember right, I think the raven picture is from The Hobbit series, and the vampire bat is from Tolkien’s lesser known work, The Silmarillion. I like the way both of them turned out and they are listed for sale on My Ebay store if you are interested in them.
Lately I’ve felt like drawing again, so I’ve been busy:
