Experimenting with Digital Art on ArtRage

I saw a post that artbychristinemallabandbrown did the other day about a digital art android program called ArtRage. I loved the art she posted, so I decided to give it a try! I’m still very much learning how the program works and just fooling around, but here are my first few abstract artworks from ArtRage!

One of My Favorite Recent Artworks

I just sold this oil pastel painting the other day, but thought I would share because it is one of my favorite recent artworks I have made. I like the earthy, a little bit dark atmosphere, and the figures in line. If I remember right, this was inspired by an old, vintage photo of men waiting in a line to go to their factory job.

Luna Lovegood Fan Art Mini Zine

I made another Harry Potter fan zine. My last one was for Severus Snape (my favorite character), and this time I decided to do one for Luna Lovegood, my husband’s favorite character and one of my other top picks. I love how Luna was so truly creative, kind, and out there (and I mean WAY out there lol). I love people like that.

Here is a look at the cover and first couple pages of the 8-page mini zine:

Do you like Luna? Who is your favorite Harry Potter character?

I only made 5 copies for the first run, so if you want a copy, check them out on my Ebay store soon!

2 Emotional Abstract Expressionism Artworks

I created these two emotionally charged ACEO abstract artworks not long ago. The first was sort of a cry of frustration when I was having trouble writing new poetry that I felt was any good:

This second piece was sort of a plea to the world and to those around me specifically to see me as I really am, a feeling that is pretty common when you feel misunderstood (as I’m sure we all do from time to time):

I hope you like them 🙂 Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments! If you want to see my art currently for sale, check out my Ebay store!

3 New ACEO Artworks – Fiery Forest, Cat Lantern, Abstract

It has been a little bit since I did an art post, so here are three of my favorite ACEO size artist trading card artworks I’ve made fairly recently. The first is a fiery forest oil pastel:

Next, we have this cute mixed media cat lantern:

And lastly, here is another oil pastel, an abstract expressionistic painting that just speaks to me on some level.

I hope you liked these! Please let me know which is your favorite and why! If you want to check out the art I currently have for sale, visit my Ebay store!

A Couple Weird Drawings

Today was a busy day, so I am posting kind of late. I figured I would just share a couple fun, slightly weird drawings I did not too long ago. The first was inspired by a Youtuber I sometimes listen to and the other picture was inspired by the unicorn from Despicable Me. Both are obviously abstract and not directly representative of the subjects that inspired them lol:
