Yesterday my husband and I went for a short walk at a local garden/park. We saw our first snake of the year:
I also tried to take some artsy nature photos:
I found a perfect crow feather that I put aside to pick up on my way back out of the park, but someone stole it before I got back to it! That bummed me out. I didn’t realize crow feathers were that popular!
Here are a couple more completed pictures from my JRR Tolkien coloring book. The first one reminds me of Bigfoot lol:
The second one I lovingly call “Mountain Man”:
Both of these pictures are for sale on my Ebay store if you are interested!
I’m still on an adult coloring book kick. Here are a couple recent finished pieces. First, we have a coffee/snack inspired picture:
This second image was actually one that I cut out of a paper from my House of Rituals pagan subscription box. Personally, I think the star and the reindeer antlers make her look like a winter witch, although the flowers point more to a springtime feeling, so who knows?
Both of these are currently up for sale on my Ebay store, so if you like them, check it out!
It’s been a while since I posted any new art, so here are a couple ACEO artist trading cards made with alcohol markers that I just listed for sale on my Ebay store:
The last couple days I’ve been making some sticker collage ACEO cards just for fun and will have to share those soon! Hope you all are having a great day and that it isn’t as wet there as it is here!
I don’t have a whole lot to say today, so thought I’d share a few more cute puzzles I’ve done recently 🙂 All of these came from Dollar Tree, so they were nice and cheap!
Today I’m missing the old me. The me that existed before chronic pain, chronic illness, and worsening depression and anxiety robbed me of so many things.
The me that used to climb trees:
The me that often used to hike up a trail and sit at the edge of a waterfall:
The me that was up for outdoor adventures in any weather:
The me that used to do silly things like go ghost hunting at night:
I know it’s not my fault that things have changed, but I still miss that old me.
In my opinion, adult coloring is art, and it does take at least some artistic talent to create a visually appealing adult coloring book picture. Of course, I’m probably biased since lately adult coloring has been a hobby I’ve been into, but since several people have bought pieces I colored from my Ebay store, I guess I’m not completely crazy for thinking it is artistic. Here are a few of my favorite pictures I’ve colored recently:
